Magento.
The e-commerce platform that truly belongs to you.

The freedom to build, without compromising on performance.
Magento Open Source is the foundation on which hundreds of thousands of online stores have been built around the world. Free, open source and modular, it is the e-commerce platform that truly belongs to you — from its code to its roadmap. No licence to renew, no locked features, no dependency on a vendor to evolve: just a powerful platform, built by and for people who have decided to take e-commerce seriously.
Magento Open Source is the free, community-driven version of the Adobe Commerce e-commerce solution. It shares the same technical foundations as Adobe Commerce, without the licence constraints. No recurring costs, the source code is fully accessible, and the global community is highly active and has been contributing to its evolution for decades.
Magento is a professional platform, capable of managing catalogues of several thousand references, multisite and multilingual architectures, ERP and PIM integrations, and significant traffic spikes. Whatever you ask of it, it can deliver — provided, of course, that it is well built.
Who is it for ?
Magento Open Source is the ideal solution for businesses with structured e-commerce needs and growth ambitions, without wanting (or needing) to pay for an Adobe Commerce licence. It is particularly suited to merchants who need advanced customisation of their customer experience, complex catalogue management (variants, attributes, product families), or a multisite architecture to manage several brands or markets from a single back office.
It is equally well suited to B2C and B2B projects, to merchants who want to control their infrastructure, and to technical teams who want to keep their hands on their code.
It is also the platform of choice for businesses that want to avoid the proprietary lock-in of closed SaaS solutions: hosting of your choice, a controlled technical stack, modules selected according to real needs rather than an all-in-one subscription.
The Magento advantage.
Unlike closed SaaS solutions, Magento Open Source doesn’t lock you in. You choose your hosting, your technical stack, your modules. The extensions ecosystem is one of the richest on the market — more than 1,000 compatible modules cover virtually all requirements without custom development.
Total flexibility
The source code is open. Everything can be customised: design, purchasing journey, pricing rules, integrations.
No limitations imposed by a vendor.

Advanced catalogue management
Simple, configurable, grouped, virtual and downloadable products, bulk attributes, product families, unlimited variants.
Magento excels where generalist platforms reach their limits.

A multisite architecture
A multisite architecture that allows you to manage multiple stores, multiple languages and multiple currencies from a single back office. One infrastructure, one team, multiple markets.

A scalable platform
The platform is built to absorb growth. And with Hyvä at the front-end level, your Core Web Vitals scores reach a level that few solutions can match.

Integration ecosystem
A genuine integration ecosystem: ERP, PIM, CRM, payment solutions, logistics, marketplaces.
Magento integrates with your entire business stack. This is one of the platform’s most well-documented strengths.

Magento Open Source + Hyvä.
Magento Open Source is powerful — and Hyvä makes it fast and enjoyable to maintain.
- Hyvä Theme replaces the native Luma theme with a modern front end based on Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS. Lighter pages, improved Core Web Vitals, front-end code understandable by any developer. Since November 2025, Hyvä Theme is also open source and free to use.
- Hyvä Checkout rewrites the checkout funnel from scratch to maximise conversion. Faster to load, more customisable, compatible with the leading PSPs on the market. The native Magento checkout is one of the most well-documented friction points in the purchasing journey — Hyvä Checkout resolves it definitively.
- Hyvä UI is the library of ready-to-use front-end components that accompanies Theme and Commerce. Sliders, navigation, cart pages, layout blocks: these are proven components to copy, adapt and deploy. Less development from scratch, more visual consistency over time.
- Hyvä Commerce goes even further. It is the complete suite integrating Theme, Checkout, UI, a modern CMS with live storefront preview, and a fully redesigned admin panel under a single licence.
The combination of Magento Open Source + Hyvä Commerce represents the best available today in terms of performance / maintainability / total cost of ownership in the open source e-commerce market. Your marketing teams create content autonomously, and your technical teams focus on what creates value.
The Magento community.
Every year, we actively participate in OpenGento weekends — the French non-profit association dedicated to the Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source community.
Founded in 2014, OpenGento brings together developers, agencies and Magento enthusiasts every year for a hackathon weekend: talks, collaborative projects, conferences, and an atmosphere that feels as much like a developer camp as an annual unmissable gathering. Our teams have participated every year since 2023. In 2024, the edition was hosted by us, in Alsace, in Sélestat — a particularly proud moment for the team. A unique format, in a privatised villa, designed to let the best ideas emerge in a setting built for sharing.

It is also in this spirit that Meet Magento France was born — the reference event for the Adobe Commerce community in France, supported by Adobe as a Platinum sponsor. At the inaugural edition in March 2025, Cannelle and Olivier co-organised the event alongside our peers, and ATI4 was a Gold sponsor. Joris, co-founder and CTO, took to the stage alongside Baptiste Bataille to talk about the Alain Afflelou project and share the behind-the-scenes of an emblematic B2B project. The second edition will be held on 25 June 2026 in Paris — and we’ll be there again!

Magento Academy.
Magento, a leading technical solution, unfortunately suffers from a glass ceiling that all integrators face: a shortage of skilled resources. To address this challenge, ATI4 has developed a training programme called Magento Academy.
The Magento Academy is an 11-week training curriculum (400 hours), Qualiopi-certified, that will enable you to become a Magento 2 developer. Adobe supports us in this initiative and has also introduced our programme to all Magento 2 players in France.
Are you a developer looking to train in this technology? Discover the Magento Academy and register for our next session!
