OpenGento is a French non-profit association (under the 1901 law) dedicated to the Adobe Commerce (Magento) community and the open-source e-commerce ecosystem. It brings together developers, agencies, merchants, and Magento enthusiasts, playing a key role in promoting open-source solutions within this environment.
Every year, businesses and developers gather for a weekend dedicated to the association and the Adobe Commerce (Magento) solution. It’s an essential event for our teams!
The idea behind this all-inclusive retreat is to create a space conducive to promoting and exchanging ideas, as well as facilitating meetings between developers and users of the open-source solution.
The goal is not only to bring the community together but also to energize the French community in a dedicated space for sharing knowledge and resources, away from screens.
A first edition
In March 2023, our team flew to Toulouse for our first participation in the OpenGento weekend, which brought together developers and professionals for:
Talks, coding, conferences, projects, hackathons, a few drinks, and several happy hours: a weekend of learning and relaxation was the motto!
The Second Edition.
We renewed our participation during the weekend of November 8-10, 2024, this time in our hometown, in Sélestat, Alsace! 🥨
We firmly believe that such events are unifying in our field, promoting the sharing of skills among professionals, and welcoming newcomers into the community!
